The Starling Shoulderette and dress were designed to show off the simple beauty of ribbing.

Plating feeds are used while knitting which allows the black and purple to be on the outside and the red to be on the inside. Garter doesn't react to plating the same way ribbing and jersey do so the different ends of yarn are more mixed in those areas.
