Yarn School Fall 2011
To round everything out, we ate delicious home cooked food and got to pet many fiber-bearing animals including Alpacas, Angora bunnies (!), Pygora goats, and Shetland, Romney and Merino sheep. We even had a special visitor by the adopted name of Waffles
New habitat: Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Our neighborhood is called Germantown and it’s on the northwest side of Phila. It’s very very close to the suburbs. The closest suburb is called Mt Airy. Mt Airy is so cute it’s almost untrustworthy.
In the Process…
Let’s get one thing straight. I’m a terrible blogger. I don’t have the patience to sit down everyday (week or month) and write about something that is only marginally important. I keep thinking about what else I could be doing, knitting, sewing, cooking, eating, choring (the heinous act of doing terribly boring chores). I have … Read more

So, not surprisingly, our little week of … Read more
Calling all Humboldt Park Artists

It’s mostly a Puerto Rican neighborhood but is slowly being gentrified as the poor artists, and the students rent the apartments and the bank-loan … Read more
Landscape photos of Maine
Last week I promised that I would post only pictures, so that is what I’ve done today. This is from our recent trip to Maine.
Betterment
So…. (twiddling thumbs)… I’ve been thinking and I’ve decided to wait to apply to graduate school. I’m not putting it off entirely, but I’m pushing the application back a year. I’d like more time to develop my body of art and my writing skills. I had put myself on this deadline to get 20 or … Read more
